DAY1 Chengdu → Huanglong → Jiuzhaigou
Highlight: Huanglong National Park
• Early morning, make your own way to Chengdu East / West / South Railway Station. Your guide will be waiting for you and will have contacted you at least one day before departure to confirm the exact meeting point and train number.
• Board the high-speed train (2nd-class seats included). The ride passes 10 picturesque stations including Qingbaijiang, Sanxingdui, Maoxian, Songpan and finally Chuanzhusi / Huanglong-Jiuzhaigou Station.
• Upon arrival, private transfer to Huanglong National Park (UNESCO World Heritage). Optional self-paid facilities:

• Walk the 2.5-km travertine valley famous for its thousands of colourful calcite pools, the “Golden Sand Beach”, Mirror Ponds, Huanglong Temple and the dazzling Five-Colour Lake (total visit ≈ 3 h).
• Late afternoon, drive to Jiuzhaigou (≈ 2 h). Check in to the hotel and enjoy a welcome Tibetan hot-pot dinner with singing and dancing. Evening at leisure.

DAY2 Full Day in Jiuzhaigou Valley
Highlights: Jiuzhaigou National Park
• After breakfast, enter Jiuzhaigou National Park (UNESCO). Sightseeing-bus ticket is self-paid: CNY 90 (peak season) / 80 (low season).
• Ride eco-buses that operate like city buses; you may hop on/off freely. The guide will accompany the group but you explore the three main valleys at your own pace:
– Shuzheng Valley: Nuorilang Waterfall, Shuzheng Lakes
– Rize Valley: Panda Lake, Five-Flower Lake, Pearl Shoal Waterfall
– Zechawa Valley: Long Lake, Five-Colour Pond
• Crystal-clear lakes, multi-level waterfalls, virgin forests and snow-capped peaks make Jiuzhaigou a true fairyland (6–8 h inside the park).
• Lunch is not included—bring snacks or use the park’s cafeterias.
• Return to the same hotel for a well-deserved rest.

DAY3 Jiuzhaigou → Zhongcha Valley → Minjiang River Source → Chengdu
Highlights: Zhongcha Valley & Minjiang River Wetland Park
• After breakfast, short drive to Zhongcha Valley (sequence may be adjusted according to train time). Alpine meadows, pyramid-shaped snow peaks, colourful forests and traditional Tibetan villages. Taste home-made yak-butter tea. Optional horse riding CNY 200–380.
• Continue to Minjiang River Source Wetland Park for a 30-min photo stop.
• Private transfer to Huanglong-Jiuzhaigou / Songpan Station for your high-speed train back to Chengdu East, where the tour ends.

Notes for Tourists traveling to High Altitudes:
1 Remind tourists to avoid carrying rod-shaped items as much as possible. Rod-shaped items that are too long (no more than 130 cm for EMUs and no more than 200 cm for ordinary trains) cannot be brought into the station or onto the train. At the same time, tour leaders and guides are not allowed to use extra-long guide poles or tour flags, and tourists are not allowed to use extra-long selfie sticks, otherwise electric shock accidents are likely to occur.
2 When taking the escalator inside the station (the steps are long and steep, please pay attention to safety and do not do vigorous exercise), each group leader should remind tourists at the escalator to hold the escalator handrail, pay attention to their feet, place luggage horizontally and hold it steadily, and take the escalator in an orderly manner; When taking the straight escalator, observe the flow of passengers to avoid congestion.
3. For this long trip, the temperature difference is large. The highest temperature during the day is around 10 °C and the lowest temperature at night is 3 ° C. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. 6 During the tour, tourists must pay attention to their own safety and the safety of minors accompanying them, keep their personal belongings safe and carry valuable items with them. The area where the scenic spot is located is inhabited by ethnic minorities. Please respect the religious beliefs and folk customs of the local ethnic minorities during your tour. For your safety, please avoid traveling alone after nightfall. According to the strict regulations of the traffic management department, drivers must stop for more than 20 minutes during the journey and stop at any stop along the way to add water or use the toilet.
