Driver and guide will pick you up at Lhasa Railway station and then take a ride along the Lhasa River Scenic Belt to Lhasa city to experience the pure air of the plateau. After arriving in Lhasa, we will check into the hotel booked by the travel agency. After arriving in Lhasa, try to avoid going out and have a good rest to adapt to altitude sickness.     Note: Lhasa is 3,650 meters above sea level and has only 70% of the oxygen content in the mainland. Most guests will experience altitude sickness to varying degrees in the first two days. In addition to maintaining a normal state of mind, drinking plenty of water, eating plenty of fruits and getting sufficient rest are the best ways to prevent altitude sickness.

Get up early. It's about 100 kilometers from Nyingchi to Lulang. The journey takes 2 hours. Crossing the 4,515-meter-high Sejila Pass along the way, enjoying the colorful forest of Sejila and having a distant view of the county town of Nyingchi. Reaching the pass is an excellent spot for a distant view of Mount Namjagbarwa. It's also the best spot to photograph Mount Namjagbarwa.After the visit, head to the Lulang Forest. Lulang - in Tibetan, is the abode of immortals. The snow-capped peaks that never melt in the distance and the vast forest nearby. It is like a paradise on earth and a fairyland on earth, making one reluctant to leave for a long time. Then go down to Lulang Pasture, which is a pastoral scene. The mountains are covered with primeval forests, and at the foot of the mountains are alpine pastures dotted with cattle and sheep. Before your eyes are Tibetan wooden houses, as if you were in a painting.Return to Nyingchi after the visit.

Vehicle: 8h, KM:480, altitude: Kadinggou 2980M       After breakfast, head to the primeval forest, which means "heaven and earth" - [Kadinggou Tianfo Waterfall]. In the Kading Valley on the banks of the Niyang River, 24 kilometers from Bayi Town, there is a typical canyon landscape with high mountains and deep gullies, strange peaks and rocks, and towering ancient trees. The waterfall, with a drop of nearly 200 meters, rushes down in a magnificent and spectacular way. In the waterfall, there is a naturally formed Buddha with a kind face, from which the Tianfo Waterfall is named. There are naturally formed Buddha statues and guardians on the rock walls, and the valley is densely covered with primeval forests, and there are beautiful legends that blend seamlessly with Tibetan Buddhism. After the tour, drive back to Lhasa along the same route.

Depart from Lhasa in the morning and drive to Yamdrok Yumtso, one of the three sacred lakes in Xizang with its dazzling and ever-changing colors. Yamdrok Yumtso, the highest freshwater lake in the world, is 4,441 meters above sea level; "Jade Lake" in Tibetan, then descend to get up close and personal with Yamdrok Yumtso. The azure lake water blends with the distant snow-capped mountains, along with the various mountain ranges on both sides, the distinctive Tibetan villages, and the cattle and sheep everywhere. The journey is refreshing and delightful.In the afternoon, I passed by the distant view of the Karola Glacier: to feel its grandeur, misty beauty, the glacier is a geological history written by flowing years and ice and snow, a great work of art sculpted by time. In the morning, take a bus through Lazi to Xindinggri County - Xiegeer. You will cross the 5,220-meter-high Gyatso pass along the way, make a brief stop and then head to Dingri. Arrive at the world's highest Mount Everest Nature Reserve in the afternoon. Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the resting place of the soul of the Panchen Lama and one of the six Gelug monasteries, which was also the residence of successive Panchen lamas and once the ruling center of the regime in the back of Xizang. The temple houses the world's largest bronze statue of Maitreya Buddha, which stands at 28 meters tall.Then return to Lhasa. The return journey doesn't need to be too hasty. Slow down and stop at [Yarlong Valley], stand still in the cradle of ancient Tibetan civilization, let rivers and icebergs, farmlands and pastures, river beaches and valleys, mountains, vegetation... ... Depart for Namtso in the morning and enjoy the views of the Nagqu River, the vast Tibetan steppe, the Qinghai-Xizang Highway and the main peak of Nyenchen Tanglha along the way. Crossing the 5,190-meter-high Nagenla Pass and visiting Namtso Lake, one of the three sacred lakes in Xizang (4,718 meters above sea level, the highest saltwater lake in the world), the vast, magnificent and clear shores of Namtso Lake are like a glittering pearl set in the vast Qiangtang grassland. Return in the afternoon to enjoy the charming scenery of the northern Xizang grassland.

I、Cost included

1.   Documents: All fees for the application of the Xizang Entry letter, our society will send the processed Xizang entry letter to the hotel where you will stay in Chengdu or other Xizang city.

2.  Transportation: Regular tour buses will be arranged throughout the journey (separate arrangements will be made for passengers leaving Xizang by train). Note: All Tours are arranged in groups of 4 or fewer people (choose one of Tibetan dinner/stone pot chicken/small hot pot), no vehicle is used in the city, the tour guide will take a taxi to the guests and arrange pick-up and drop-off separately.

II、The cost is not included.

1.   Transportation to and from Xizang, namely air tickets, are at your own expense and can be purchased by our agency.

2.  Meals, approximately 30 to 60RMB per person per meal, our tour guide will provide you with the most suitable option.

3.   Tip: It is recommended to tip according to the conditions in Xizang, 30 to 50 yuan per person per day for both the driver and the guide

4.   Other expenses resulting from irresistible objective reasons (such as natural disasters, strikes, wars) or flight delays, cancellations and visa delays.

5.   Personal expenses are at your own expense, such as hotel laundry charges, telephone charges, overweight baggage charges, beverage charges during meals, etc.

6.   It is recommended not to purchase expensive items near the scenic area to avoid unnecessary disputes.

7.  There are no out-of-pocket expenses if you do not enter the store during the above itinerary.

8.   Any charges not mentioned in the service package shall be borne by the guests themselves.

9.  Single supplement (if a single person requests not to share a room or no one shares a room in the end, the single supplement will be paid)

3. Friendly tips

The departure time during the tour is usually around 6:30 to 8:00 a.m.  (it may be adjusted earlier or later depending on the driving time of the day). The tour guide will contact you the day before departure. Please make sure your mobile phone is turned on.

2.  Before July, it usually gets dark around 20:00 in Xizang. It is recommended not to wander outside after nightfall. Please go to bed early.

3.  The starting fare for a taxi in Lhasa is 10 yuan. You can carpool. Generally, it costs 10 yuan to get there by car within the city.

4.  In areas where the journey takes a long time by car, you can carry some snacks, fruits, chocolates, etc. with you.

5.  There are more dining options in Lhasa than in the region. Local cuisine mainly consists of Tibetan and Sichuan dishes. There are more restaurants near Sun Island, the entrance of Jokhang Temple and Balku Road, and you can choose your own.

6 Xizang  has strong ultraviolet rays. Please bring your own sunglasses, lip balm, hat, sunscreen, etc. to avoid sunburn.

7.  There is a large temperature difference between day and night in Xizang. When entering Xizang and during the morning and evening in Xizang, please wear/bring down jackets or down jackets that can be taken, long and short sleeved tops or thin sweaters for the upper body, long and long skirts for the lower body, and long and short sleeved tops and long trousers for entering the Putra Palace or other temples.

8.  As the oxygen content in Xizang is lower than that in the inland areas, please rest and drink plenty of water (or drink beverages such as butter tea, sweet tea, yogurt, etc.) before and after entering Xizang to effectively avoid altitude sickness.

9.  The peak season is the rainy season in Xizang. It usually rains more frequently at night and less during the day. Please carry an umbrella or raincoat if it is convenient for you.

10.  Our agency reserves the right to adjust the itinerary sequence based on the special circumstances of traveling to Xizang. We hope you will understand.

11.  In the event of force majeure factors (weather, road conditions, mudslides, landslides, temporary traffic control or political factors, etc.), our society will cooperate to handle the situation, but any additional expenses incurred due to possible changes in the itinerary shall be borne by the guests.

12.  If a guest withdraws from the tour due to personal reasons or altitude sickness, only the accommodation and entrance fees that have not been incurred will be refunded.

IV、Notes

1.  Good mental quality is the panacea for overcoming and defeating altitude sickness. A large number of examples show that maintaining an open and optimistic mood can reduce the physical discomfort caused by altitude sickness. Take care not to catch a cold before going to Xizang.

2  Keep an open and optimistic mood. Drinking butter tea, dairy products, chocolate and beef jerky in moderation during the journey can enhance your adaptability to the plateau climate.

3.  Xizang is a minority area. Please respect the local customs and habits. Especially in religious places, respect their beliefs and do not violate the relevant taboos in your behavior.

4.  Tourism reception conditions in Xizang are limited, and accommodation, dining and scenic spot conditions are relatively backward compared to developed tourist areas. It is hoped that tourists will treat them with tolerance so as not to affect their interest in traveling.

5.  People with severe high blood pressure or heart disease should not go to Xizang. Please do not bring a severe cold into Xizang.

6.  When you first arrive at the plateau, drink plenty of water, eat more fruits, avoid smoking and drinking alcohol, do not walk fast, and definitely do not run. It is best to spend half a day completely resting and recuperating. On the first night, go to bed early and get more sleep. This rule should start when you get off the plane. Many people get off the plane and think they don't have any altitude sickness. As a result, the symptoms only show up in the evening and it's too late to regret.

7  Don't use coins when giving alms to beggars on the road, and don't use coins when donating in temples either. When you come across a child asking for money on the road, if you give one, a group will gather around. Keep an eye on valuable items on Barkhor Street.

V、Notice of Departure

Xizang is different from other regions due to its special areas such as the plateau and politics. We hereby inform you:

1.   Regarding prices: Independent Tours have different prices, just like booking air tickets. Before departure, please shop around. Once the tour is booked, our agency will not accept any price objections.

2.  Regarding shopping at your own expense: Our agency firmly opposes the tour guide's private recommendation of shopping stores and self-paid attractions. If you encounter a tour guide who privately uses covert means to recommend self-paid or shopping, you can refuse and contact us. If you voluntarily participate in shopping and pay for yourself, you must not complain about the travel agency on this.

3.  Regarding hotels: The plateau conditions are harsh. Our agency arranges foreign-related hotels as stipulated in the contract. Hotels may have no air conditioning, no elevators, and no 24-hour hot water (solar energy is used in Xizang. Hot water supply is good during the day and may not be available in the middle of the night). Please understand. If you have any special accommodation requirements, please inform us in advance.

4.   Regarding transportation: Our agency uses regular tourist vehicles for all Tours. Due to the special climate conditions in Xizang, the vehicles do not have air conditioning on.

5.   Regarding departure time: Due to geographical conditions, speed limits, etc., the departure time for independent Tours in Xizang is generally around 7 a.m., and the departure time varies from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
